56th IFHP World Congress: Inclusive Cities in a Global World - Gothenburg (Sweden) - September 16-19, 2012

The International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP) is holding its 2012 world congress from September 16th to 19th in Gothenburg (Sweden). This year’s theme is ‘Inclusive Cities in a Global World’.

Congress to study sustainable urban transformation

The Congress will examine the interrelationship between the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainable development. The aim is to increase understanding of different ideas related to urban development, from the immediate environment and the city as a whole through to the global level.

IFHP is a worldwide network of organisations and individuals working within housing, urban development and planning. The focus is on sustainable urban development and IFHP acts as a forum for learning and networking.
